KIMBERLEY WHALE WATCHING REPORT
Kimberley Whale Watching has recently released the results of the 2009 Kimberley Cetacean Survey, with findings that indicate that the waters between Broome and Camden Sound should be included in the proposed new marine park due to the high concentration of whales off the coast of the lower Dampier Peninsular.

Kimberley Whale Watching is offering the opportunity to join us in 2010 on extended research expedition cruises on ‘MV Kimberley Escape’, to study this important population of humpback whales. You will participate in hydrophone recordings of song, the recording of tail fluke patterns, and experience amazing interactions with the whales.

The "Kimberley Whales Project 2009" involved the photo-ID, counting, filming and observation of the behaviour of Western Australia's Humpback Whales along the Kimberley Coast between Broome and The Hunter River.
